We’re featured in the fall issue of Collective, a magazine for your iPad cooked up in Los Angeles by a group of people (notably editor-in-chief Eryka Clayton and NYC-based photographer Harry Fellows) who get together to make smart, quality work. Isn’t that swell? So here we are, in an amazing warehouse-cum-art collective in Red Hook, Brooklyn, pretending to be a real BAND that gets their PICTURE TAKEN BY FANCY PEOPLE!
Thanks to the following geniuses: Mr. Fellows himself, stylist Ise White and crew, makeup wonderchild Michelle Coursey (she totally got what I meant by “vaguely menacing/Weimar-ish raccoon eyes,” despite that phrase making no sense whatsoever), and hair maven JT Franchuk, a total doll.
